Inspirational author and lecturer Marianne Williamson has been

In this motivational video, Marianne uses her experience of
leading a camping trip for teens as a way to help parents nurture
the growth of their adolescent children. Children need to
understand that taking responsibility for one's actions is a
prerequisite for adulthood and that they must make the conscious
decision to enter adulthood knowing its responsibilities. In order
to achieve this, one must know he or she is empowered by God. The
other side of this is that parents must support their children and
give them confidence in their ideas. This way they will learn that
if they don't consciously choose which road they want to follow,
someone else will choose for them.
