Yoga2hear Introduction to Core Yoga (2008) is a 25 minute class suitable for those with little or no previous experience of yoga.

The class uses expert tuition to introduce and guide you through 6 simple but effective yoga postures that will strengthen and bring your awareness to the deep muscles of the lumbar spine, pelvis and abdominal areas which together form the core muscles. The class then concludes with a guided relaxation session.

 

The class uses clear, easy-to-follow instructions combined with an atmospheric background music track and is accompanied by a Intro to Core Yoga guide book that highlights the instruction, provides a series of reference photos for each posture and gives helpful tips on how to get the most from the class.

 

Our core muscles respond well to slow controlled movements so the Yoga2hear Intro to Core yoga class is the perfect way to strengthen them. By strengthening the core muscles we are able to move with greater efficiency, increase stability and improve posture which brings many benefits.

 

The class is devised and instructed by Yoga2hear founder Sue Fuller, and is one of over 40 Yoga2hear classes. Sue is the resident yoga expert for Natural Health Magazine and is a leading yoga teacher, writer and training course author who has studied and taught yoga around the world for almost 20 years.

 

Sue has also created a Core Yoga class that is suitable for those with previous yoga experience.
