Tim Keller, senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, gives five reasons why Christianity is a plausible and credible system of belief. All five talks were given at the Harvard Club of New York City.

- In "Because Nobody is Really a Doubter", Tim shows that everybody places their faith in something. He then asks: How plausible is the Christian faith, compared to the faith system that you've already accepted and are living by? Are you willing to examine your current faith system with the same critical eye that you cast on Christianity?
- In "Because We All Know There's a God", Tim asks the question, "How can we know if there's really a God -- and if so, what is He like?" Tim explores a variety of philosophical approaches to this question, and demonstrates that there are serious intellectual, emotional, and practical difficulties with not believing in God. He then asks: How plausible is a belief in God, compared to the belief that there isn't a God?
- In "Because the Resurrection Really Happened", Tim examines the "hard, stubborn historical fact" that Jesus really did rise from the dead. He reviews the historical evidence, and rebuts the alternative theories that attempt to explain the empty tomb. He then asks: If Christianity isn't true, how can one account for this fundamental fact of history?
- In "Because of Christianity's Unique Power to Change Lives", Tim looks at both the weaknesses and strengths of this argument. He shows that there are many different faiths that can lead to positive behavior change -- but by itself, that doesn't prove that those faiths are true. He then asks: Is there anything unique about Christianity, that makes its power to change lives qualitatively different, and better? And is this difference, in itself, a reason to believe that Christianity is true?
- In "Because of Christianity's Unique Explanatory Power", Tim talks about the "narrative structure" of Christianity -- how it explains human nature and the meaning of human history. He shows that every faith has its own narrative structure, pointing more or less clearly toward eternal and universal truths. He then asks: Is there anything unique about Christianity, that makes its narrative structure different, and better? And is this difference another reason to believe that Christianity is true?
