Thomas Moore, Ph.D. was a Catholic monk for twelve years, and went on to become a psychotherapist. He has earned degrees in theology, musicology and religion and now lectures extensively throughout North America. His books include the classic bestsellers: Care of the Soul: A Guide for Cultivating Depth and Sacredness in Everyday Life (HarperCollins 1992) and Soul Mates: Honoring the Mysteries of Love and Relationship (HarperCollins 1994).
