From Quantum Savvy Horsemanship. After a particularly bad riding accident at 17, Meredith actually got out of horses for several years. It wasn’t until 2 years later, after she met her future husband Shane, that she began to follow her heart and begin riding again. At this point she discovered that she had completely lost her confidence, but none of the desire to ride. Whilst there was still plenty of advice to be had to fix ‘problem’ horses, nothing really seemed to provide the answers she looked for. There had to be a better way. Meredith’s affinity for horses and the desire to do things the right way for the horse, led her to a clinic conducted by Pat Parelli in 1994.
