Tyra Announces the Exclusive Release of a New India.Arie Song Through iAmplify Proceeds to Benefit Young Hurricane Victims

(December 8, 2005, Los Angeles) Tyra announces the exclusive release of "What About the Child," a new track from Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and UNICEF Ambassador India.Arie, to raise funds for children affected by Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. India.Arie performed the previously unreleased single on the December 7th episode of "The Tyra Banks Show." The live performance will be available for download as an audio track at through a partnership with throughout the holiday season. All proceeds from the track will benefit young hurricane victims through the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, thus enabling music fans to use mp3 technology for charitable giving this holiday season.

For a one-dollar donation, viewers can download the song. But for a larger donation, viewers can get an iAmplify gift certificate, VIP tickets to "The Tyra Banks Show," and even a "thank you" in the show credits!

India.Arie first teamed up with Tyra to write the theme song to "The Tyra Banks Show," "Just for Today," an inspirational anthem for women everywhere.
