American Media, Inc. Signs Web-Based Content Agreement With iAmplify

New York, NY, July 31, 2008 - American Media, Inc. (AMI), the leading publisher of celebrity journalism and health and fitness magazines in the U.S., announced today it has partnered with, a video distribution network, to deliver premium downloadable audio and video content through AMI's web properties.

"It adds a dynamic new dimension to our fitness websites, as well as giving us a potentially significant revenue stream." New download stores will initially be available at and and will incorporate health and fitness content from iAmplify's growing media catalog of thousands of titles, which include top fitness talent like Kathy Smith, Tamilee Webb and 9-time UFC Champion Matt Hughes. The content in these new download stores ranging from fitness to business to personal growth to health will allow consumers to train "on the go" with some of the most recognized experts in their fields.

In addition to the new download stores, iAmplify will also be syndicating the AMI fitness library throughout its growing network of third-party websites.
