Sadie Nardini

Sadie Nardini is the founder of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, a practice designed to strengthen and keep you connected to center, even as you express through each pose. The style is fast-growing in popularity among students of all levels and backgrounds for its ability to provide more benefits in less time. Sadie attracts a large community in person, at her East/West Yoga home in New York City, as well as having a massive audience for her online podcasts and audio casts.

Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga is a fast-track to strength, calorie burn, and uses real-life philosophy to bring inner purpose to the outer form. Because of the success of her style and the contemporary way she brings the philosophy of yoga into direct contact with our daily lives, Sadie is in demand nationally and internationally as a trendsetting speaker and teacher of her "9 Stop" Program, which evolves one's life on every level. Her book, The Road Trip Guide to Your Soul, will be on shelves in Spring, 2008, published by John Wiley and Sons.

Sadie moved to New York City in April, 2001, to teach yoga and write fitness, health and fashion articles for The New York Post. After providing yoga, massage and meditation to the rescue workers during September 11, she decided to create a healing community for the TriBeCa residents who remained in the Lower Manhattan area. Her yoga studio, Shri Yoga, was voted "Best in New York City 2005" by New York Magazine in their annual "Best of New York" issue. Sadie moved on from Shri to focus on her book and personal style, and her Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga training intensive was called "One of the Top 10 Ways to Change Your Life" by New York Magazine in 2006.

As the nutrition expert for Crunch Fitness Hollywood for two years, Sadie helped create the Eat-Wise program used by the national Crunch franchise. She wrote the nutrition portion of Get Fit in a Crunch (Hatherleigh Press, 1999), in major bookstores now. While in Los Angeles, she co-founded an online forum for Self magazine, the H.E.R. (Healthy Eating Rules) club.
