Joshua Halberstam, PhD, has been writing and teaching philosophy to collegiate and general audiences for two decades. He has also had a career as an entrepreneur and business consultant. Dr. Halberstam taught at New York University, and is now adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he teaches courses in social theory and the philosophy of technology and facilitates programs between the college and the private sector in the area of educational technologies; he also was Director of the college's Project on Character Education.
