Jill is a passionate writer, who seeks to introduce positive, life-changing ideas to anyone is struggling with stress, looking for happiness, or simply having a bad day. Jill has been writing for over a decade beginning with two self-published, motivational books for creative people in the entertainment industry focusing on the business of creativity, marketing oneself as an actor, artist and/or musician - LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACT-ION AND YOU and JUST DO IT. The latter was a basis for workshops that Jill taught in Los Angeles to inspire and motivate young actors and actresses to take responsibility for their careers. The success of each was tremendous, based on the testimonials of those whose careers began taking off after utilizing the methodology put forth in the books. As a native Texan, Jill was inspired by the birth of her first child to write two children's books, MEET LITTLE TEX and LITTLE TEX'S ABCs for Gulf Publishing/Rowman Littlefield Books. These books introduce young children to the icons of Texas in a fun and educational approach. Jill has served on the Board of Advisors of the Samuel Goldwyn Foundation Children's Center, a subsidiary of the Motion Picture Television Fund, and regularly volunteers at charitable organizations serving the needs of women and children.
