In this collection of lectures and debates, Rabbi Shmuley tackles the topic of how science and religion interact. In the first program, Rabbi Shmuley and Professor Wyatt Anderson of the University of Georgia conduct a spirited debate about the origins and accuracy of the theory of evolution. After an opinionated exchange over what the theory means, Shmuley debates listeners through call-ins, where he asserts that evolution is the dogma or orthodox religion of scientists today.

Also included is a debate on the topic: “Does God Exist?” Hosted by Rabbi Shmuley, the debate features Richard Dawkins, who argues against the existence of god, and Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, who argues for the existence of god. Dawkins starts with an explanation of the significant amount of science that proves how every living thing came into existence. Rabbi Steinsaltz claims that as a Jew, you must believe in God in a much more abstract sense then just an explanation for how scientific events occur.

And finally, gain insight on the topic of religion versus science when five expert speakers discuss both sides of the argument with Rabbi Shmuley as the moderator. What describes our existence better, evolution or creationism? Should we, as one debator argues, put religion on a back burner and ignore fanatical faith, and focus instead on our common humanity?
